Catherine Annie Hollingsworth has studied dance throughout her life. She has training and experience in ballet, contemporary dance, performance art, club and street styles and, more recently, Caribbean folkloric dance. She began writing about visual art in 2010 after winning the Artlurker Writer’s Prize, and joined ArtBurst soon after as a dance and performance journalist. Her writing has appeared in many local and national publications including Art Papers, The Miami Herald, Miami Rail and Miami New Times. She is a regular contributor to ArtBurst.
