The skill of the dancers consistently surprised during the Dec. 4-7 performances at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
The Dec. 5 performance in Coral Gables will headline the works of Bach, Mozart and Schubert.
The hourlong program of works includes Justin Peck’s “Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes,” Christopher Wheeldon’s “This Bitter Earth,” and Twyla Tharp’s “Nine Sinatra Songs.”
Two company premieres and a world premiere headlined a program of works at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center.
The performance, including a pre-show conversation, will take place at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center.
The dance company performed from Oct. 31 through Nov. 3 at Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s On.Stage Black Box Theatre.
The company’s newest work, 'Remain in Light,' will be presented through Nov. 3.
Miami City Ballet’s 2019-2020 season-opener “Slaughter on Tenth Avenue,” debuted October 18-20 at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.
The program featured viola-centric works spanning three hundred years in an evening that leapt from one surprise to the next.
The audience ended the evening on their feet and, of the two works certainly “Trajectoire” merited their appreciation.
