about George Fishman

George Fishman followed his 20-year career in mosaic art by beginning to record conversations with curators, designers, gallerists and studio artists about their professional practice. The interviews were first disseminated on the “Mosaic of Art” podcast and led to interview-based writing assignments, generally accompanied by audio clips. Writing visual arts stories for the Miami Herald and performance stories for ArtBurst has expanded both his understanding of the rigors of producing artwork in diverse genres and the challenge of communicating their meaning and relevance to audiences.
