CALLING ALL ARTISTS: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS AVAILABLE

The Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs Department is offering Miami-Dade practicing, professional and emerging artists the opportunity to further their professional development through their Artist Access Grants Program. Postmark deadline to apply is Friday, May 9, 2014.

Ranging from $100 to $1,000, the funds can be used toward attendance at advanced workshops, master classes, seminars, artist residencies or other activities  — outside of Miami-Dade County — that advance or propel their professional career.

Applicants are required to call and request phone consultation with Grant Administrator Mary Luft, who can be reached at 305-324-4337, one week prior to submitting their application.
