Produced by DVCAI and The Rhythm Foundation, the show was originally intended to be a ticketed event in Miami Beach. But after the Surfside tragedy, it became part of the Hollywood ArtsPark Experience Concert Series.
The six free shows will take place on Thursday evenings beginning July 8.
Events are planned throughout South Florida to mark the special occasion.
The June 5-6 shows will be the first in a new venture between the New York club and The Rhythm Foundation.
The April 16 performance will see Goldberg join local standouts Dion Kerr on bass and Harvel Nakundi on drums.
The program, which included spoken-word performances, was offered in-person at the Miami Beach Woman’s Club as well as online.
