Shanieya Harris is a Florida native who has a passion for writing and the arts. Harris participated in the Artburst Miami Arts Journalism Mentoring Program as part of the Winter 2022 Cohort 3. She has spent her primary years competing in spoken word poetry within South Florida; thereafter, writing screenplays and news articles in both Spanish and English. From poems, books, playwrights, and more, she enjoys moving her work from the page to the stage.
