about Juan Carlos Perez-Duthie

Juan Carlos Pérez-Duthie is a writer, journalist, adjunct professor, language instructor, and translator. He worked at The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald newspapers shortly after graduating in Communications and French from Fordham University in New York. He was also a featured writer at El Nuevo Día in Puerto Rico, and a correspondent for that newspaper out of Miami. From 2004 to 2005, he lived in Argentina, where he completed a Master’s in Journalism at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella, in conjunction with that country’s main daily, La Nación. As a non-fiction writer, his work has appeared in numerous media outlets, including Artburst, El Sentinel de Broward weekly, The Los Angeles Times, El Tiempo (Bogotá, Colombia), Knight Foundation, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Muy Interesante (Spain), and the Miami (Un)plugged anthology (2016).
