Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00-12:00 noon NW 1st Pl Miami, FL 33127 This class incorporates technical foundations influenced by a mixed palette of Limon and Laban, as well improvisation, in a training context. The class explores the physicality of falling through gravity incorporating floor work, and upside down work to warm up the body, as well as find the spiraling points of opposition. Be prepared to have a good time sailing the body throughout the space. Yoga and Integrated Movement Principles Wednesdays 10:00-11:30 am Joanne Barrett integrates her love for Yoga with contemporary dance methods to share a unique YOGA class playing between a formal and spontaneous practice that merge into one process. Focusing basic dance elements connecting body awareness, and fluid movements with traditional yoga postures to link energy movements and body structures into the physical and emotional body, connected with spatial awareness bridging the two disciplines of yoga and movement.
