 As a service, we provide a monthly listing of available grants to artists in the Miami-Dade County area and additional links for grant opportunities in other counties and across Florida. Several of the listings remain from the December list as they are still active. 

Sandrell Rivers Theater

Cultural Arts Partnership Residency (CAP@SRT Residency) managed by Fantasy Theatre Factory
The yearlong residency at Sandrell Rivers Theater in Liberty City is open to emerging and under-sourced performing arts groups in Miami-Dade County. It provides the groups with  free office, rehearsal and performance space at the theater as well as hands-on production, marketing and publicity support. Additionally, groups will receive one on one mentoring sessions with Fantasy Theater Factory leadership through their Business of the Arts Session, helping them build capacity and visibility.

Miami-Dade Art in Public Places

Call to Artists: Terminal G, PortMiami Royal Caribbean Group

Artists are invited to submit proposals for public artwork to adorn the newly renovated port terminal. They are asked to create pieces that contribute to the identity of the space while simultaneously engaging PortMiami employees, cruise passengers and the public.

Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs

Community Grants Program

Tailored/targeted to non-profit organizations developing small to medium scale community-based cultural programs.

FY 2025-2026 Fourth Quarter

Tourist Development Grants Program
This quarterly program lends support to significant cultural/special events and television/film projects that promote Miami-Dade County as a tourist destination.

 FY 2025-2026 Fourth Quarter

Courtesy Review Deadline: Monday, April 6, 2026, 11:59 p.m.

Cultural Advancement Grants Program

This program provides grants to professional, mid-to-large size arts organizations for year-round creation or presentation of art. Applicants must have a historical organization budget of over $500,000. The maximum request per organization is $160,000. The program is a three-year review cycle with pre-application qualification and invitation to apply, comprehensive application submission and panel review in the first year followed by more streamlined application and review process in the subsequent two years.

 Florida Division of Arts & Culture

Call to Artists – University of Florida Art in State Buildings

Open call for an artist or team of artists to create a site-specific artwork for the new University of Florida Dental Sciences Building Addition specifically for the Main Entry/Auditorium. Works should feature a modern design, focus on natural light, suspended works or building integrations. Budget is $95,000 for the site-specific art and honorarium payment between $2,000-$5,000. Finalists also receive a separate travel stipend for an in-person site visit.
