Call for Artists for Mary Brickell Village Arts Festival

With Downtown Art Days set to take over Downtown Miami Sept. 19-21, the Blink Group Gallery, a marketing firm for visual artists, is putting out a Call for Artists for the Mary Brickell Village Arts Festival taking place during Art Days.

DowntownMiami.com and Blink Group are presenting the arts festival as a vehicle to capitalize on the cultural vibe that is Downtown Art Days. Attendees can expect to meander through 25 tents where live art and music will be featured, as well as food from local restaurants and clothing and accessories from the boutiques in the area.

Artists must submit a minimum of five media images in any of the 10 available categories. All registration requirements, rules and amenities are detailed at here. They have 25 slots available and will take applications until they are filled.

The event is an opportunity for greater exposure to the locals of the Brickell area as well as those attending the hundreds of events around Downtown Miami. The event kicks off with a happy hour event Thursday, Sept. 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Mary Brickell Village. Festival times are Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 21 from noon to 5 p.m.
