CULTURE SHOCK MIAMI Presents The YOU Review: PIANO SLAM 9

Produced by Kay and Stephen Belth, Arts Marketing Network

For the 9th consecutive year, the Dranoff 2 Piano Foundation has engaged more than 60,000 Miami-Dade County public middle and high school students in live in-school 2-piano concert experiences.

The program inspires students to explore their own creativity and relationship to Music and to express themselves through the spoken word and poetry. They then compete to win a place on the stage of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and perform their original poems along with professional dancers, musicians, a poet and DJ.

The Culture Shock Miami YOU Review Crew met with students on both sides of the curtain of PIANO SLAM 9 on February 16, 2017 to find out what the arts and PIANO SLAM have meant to them . . . .
